Turki Terjemahkan Injil Berusia 1.500 Tahun

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, ANKARA --  Sebuah media di Timur Tengah Alarabiya melaporkan bahwa  pemerintah Turki akan menerjemahkan alkitab berusia 1.500 tahun.
Injil kuno yang menyebut kerasulan Muhammad SAW itu memang sempat mengundang perhatian dunia. Selain menyebut akan datangnya Nabi Muhammad, Injil itu juga menyebut bahwa Yesus adalah manusia fana dan tak pernah disalib.

Injil Barnabas yang di percaya para analis sebagai tambahan dari kitab-kitab injil asli seperti Markus, Matius, Lukas, dan Yohanes menarik perhatian awal tahun ini. Dalam kitab Yesus telah meramalkan kedatangan Nabi Muhammad.

Pada Februari lalu, Vatikan secara resmi telah meminta untuk melihat alkitab yang ditemukan Turki selama operasi penyelundupan pada tahun 2000. Pekan ini kutipan dari dokumen asli tersebut telah di terjemahkan. Dokumen yang ditulis dengan bahasa Syriac dialek Aram tersebut menyangkal Ketuhanan Yesus.


Laporan sebuah majalah online Y-Jesus yang berbasis di Amerika Serikat dalam analisisnya mengenai Injil Barnabas mengungkapkan, teks dokumen secara efektif menyangkal keilahian Yesus dan menolak konsep trinitas, kepercayaan kristen yang mendefinisikan Allah dalam tiga pribadi, Bapa, Anak, dan Roh Kudus.

Laporan itu juga menyatakan dalam Injil Barnabas, Yudas Iskariot disebut sebagai orang yang mati disalib dan bukan Yesus. Sementara dalam Perjanjian Baru, Yudas disebut mengkhianati Yesus.

Pernyataan dari laporan kajian terhadap Injil Barnabas tersebut menantang pesan Kristen selama ini. Pesan selama ini, kematian Yesus dikatakan sebagai pengorbanan Juru Selamat bagi dosa-dosa Kristen dan kebangkitanya sebagai harapan kehidupan kekal.

St Barnabas secara tradisional diidentifikasikan sebagai pendiri Gereja Siprus. Ia adalah orang Kristen pertama yang dianggap sebagai rasul bagi umat Kristen.

Menteri Pariwisata dan Kebudayaan Turki, Ertugrul Gunay, mengatakan, teks dari Injil Barnabas tersebut dilaporkan bernilai sekitar 22 juta dolar.
"Sejalan dengan keyakinan Islam, Injil memperlakukan Yesus sebagai manusia bukan Tuhan. Ini menolak ide dari tritunggal kudus dan penyaliban. Serta ramalan Yesus akan kedatangan Nabi Muhammad," Kata Gunay seperti dilaporkan dalam salah satu surat kabar setempat.

Saat ini injil dijaga ketat oleh pihak berwenang Turki sebelum diserahkan pada Museum Etnografi Ankara. Rencananya teks asli injil tersebut akan dipamerkan di museum.
